The Vitro Inline 19mm Ash Catcher is an add-on piece from Vitro that the listing describes as a fine example of the brand’s high-quality accessories. It features a removable diffuser downstem and a slitted inline percolator. The specifications list the brand as Vitro, the perc type as inline, the joint size as 0.75 in [1.9 cm], the joint types as female and male and the material as glass, and the piece stands 5 in [12 cm] tall. The color menu and the specifications do not name exactly the same set of colors, so it is worth checking the choices on the product page.
An ash catcher sits between your bowl and your water pipe, where it cools the draw, diffuses the smoke through water and collects debris before it reaches the main chamber, which keeps the water in your bong cleaner for longer. The inline percolator adds an extra layer of filtration, and the removable downstem makes the piece easier to clean and maintain. The glass construction is easy to rinse, and the 5 in [12 cm] height adds modest height to your setup.
This piece suits owners of compatible 0.75 in [1.9 cm] water pipes who want a smoother, cleaner pull, as well as anyone who likes to upgrade a setup with a functional accessory from a well-known brand.
